Well last week the halo Waypoint arrived on the Xbox Live Preview program and it launches for the rest of you tomorrow. I have had a little bit of a play with it and its an interesting idea.
So what is Halo Waypoint, well its a minisite environment for all things Halo on the Xbox 360, what that really means, well who knows. But you can see back-story info, in games pictures, VIDOCS and very soon, the Halo Legends Anime series.
The one thing which has stood out for me is the career mode, which tracks your achievements and progress across the Xbox 360 Halo games, Halo 3, ODST and Halo Wars, and depending on what achievements you have gotten, we finally get to see Avatar Rewards, hence my Avatars nice new ODST hoodie and Waypoint Monitor!
Whether this is something that works, who can tell, I will keep playing with it and once everyone else gets a hold of it, I am sure they will have fun with it as well.
